So I'm playing a little catch-up on my blog this week since I've been out with a cold. Thank God I'm totally over that!!!!
If you are new here, Welcome. The idea of this project is to write 52 letters this year, you can see past letters/posts at 52 Letters.
I've actually written 4 letters over the past 3 weeks. woohoo! Remember it's about putting pen to paper and the length of the note or letter really doesn't matter. What matters is that the letter or note has substance and meaning.
What kind of letters have you been meaning to write? What have you wrote already?
What are you waiting for? What if tomorrow never comes?
Letter 5: A letter to a good friends parents: I'll let the letter speak for itself
"I wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I appreciate Cindy and her friendship. But more importantly commend you for your daughter. I know, it might seem odd coming from me but I often think about what a resiliant and wonderful woman she is. She is a great mother, wife, and and friend. She has strong family values that she has passed to me in guidance and with no doubt startef from the two of you. I always say that God had a plan for our families to meet and I'm so glad he did. I am gratefull to have all of you in our lives." Fondly, Stephanie
Letter 6: I wrote 2 of the exact same notes to 2 friends who started a moms group
"Dear R/B: Just sending a quick note to say, Thank you! I am so glad you and B decided to start SASM. I am grateful for the night out and the friendships I've made."
Letter 7: To a dear friend, friends are often forgotten like family members but are our most precious gifts.
The card on the inside is imprinted with: My best times are with you.
My note reads: "Oddly enough - we don't really spend 'time' together but we do have some of the best phone conversations. It's always comforting to know that we can just pick-up where we left off and know that when one of us says, "I'll call you right back." could mean in a couple days. Thank you for your continued friendship and support.
I'll be back on Friday with letter 8. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

I really like the idea of including an actual letter each week for my Project Life album- you can just talk about what was important that week- thanks for the inspiration!

omg, that is such a great idea to write a letter per week throughout the year! It's sad that letter-writing is becoming a lost art. I was just talking to a friend on FB about this the other day! This inspires me to go write a letter...
